Maarakool Primary School will be using the Classroom Mastery program to guide the Behaviour and Engagement curriculum. The program focuses on explicitly teaching expected behaviours to students and building consistent predictable routines.
Our restorative approach focuses on building, maintaining and restoring positive relationships, particularly when incidents that involve interpersonal conflict or wrongdoing occur.
Restorative practices work best when the whole school community is on board. Staff at Maarakool maintain open and honest communication that supports student behaviour.
